As an extremely overweight child (225 lbs at the age of 13 and size 38 waist), I know what it is like to feel defeated and living everyday with body dismorphia, at least up until a few years ago when I underwent my first of two back surgeries. I realized I had a weak mind which led to a compromised physical condition. After the second back surgery, the neurologist suggested I refrain from being too active as my body could not handle the stress. This started my journey!

My spirit was broken and the only person responsible for me getting stronger was myself. I did not let this mentality defeat me as I persevered and remained tenacious to rehabilitate myself to full recovery.
Today, I am an independent Personal Fitness Trainer and Life Coach in Portland, OR. I am helping my clients, not only mentally, but physically as well. A strong mind leads to a strong body. I constantly remind my clients to stay focused and "be in the moment 100% of the time".
